 Trends and influences on modern Malay identities”
With hashtags such as #KitaJagaKita and community projects from distributing food to support for frontliners, group identity and religion can be a source of comfort. However, identity is not holistic. The Malay identity has a myriad ofinfluences which shape behaviours, personalities and communities. What are the sources creating differences andsimilarities? Has a crisis exacerbated them? What is in store for Malaysia after the MCO and a great deal of social distancing?
