Description

This public event will provide an opportunity for leading foreign policy thinkers from China and the United States to discuss U.S. and Chinese policy and interests in Southeast Asia. While U.S. and Chinese engagement in the region is often seen through the lens of competition, this event will focus on ideas for U.S.-China cooperation on issues important to Southeast Asia. As U.S.-China relations and the role of China and the United States in the region is often discussed, this event will be unique in that these issues will be jointly addressed by American and Chinese speakers.
