Dr Abdul Wahed Jalal

Dr Abdul Wahed Jalal holds a PhD in political sciences. His main research interests revolve around the processes of political reform and contestation in Malaysia and the wider Southeast Asian region. He also researches on international relations, democracy, culture policy and political Islam.

He has lectured at Universiti Utara Malaysia (College of Law, Government & International Studies), University of Malaya (Academy of Islamic Studies), Human Development University in Iraq (Department of Politics & Law), and International Islamic University Malaysia (Department of Political Sciences).
